CARL is going hybrid!

We have learned a lot about virtual meetings during the pandemic, maybe more than we would have liked. Based on feedback from the last two years, we have decided to make the CARL program hybrid. This means that some of our sessions will be in person and some will be virtual. Our in person sessions will not be live streamed.

Virtual sessions will include approximately 6-8 hours of instruction, discussion and networking activities. These hours will be scheduled during the indicated dates.

In person sessions will require participants to attend both days of the session and stay overnight. Evening activities will be planned for the evening of the session’s first day. The March session will be held during CALCOG’s Regional Leadership Forum.

The dates listed below will not change unless agreed upon by participants. The session elements are examples of the topics that we include in the program. Exact topics and their timing within the program are subject to change. While we want to provide prospective participants with an idea of program curriculum, we work during the year to tailor the program to the needs of each class. A brief description of the various tracks is on the academy Elements page.

A Note on COVID: The CARL program will follow the guidance from state and county public health offices, and the policies of participants’ agencies. [/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
