Schedule Structure
In-person sessions require participants to attend two days and one overnight unless otherwise noted. Evening activities will be planned for the night following the first full day of instruction. These events are part of the curriculum and are not optional. The March session includes attendance at CALCOG’s Regional Leadership Forum. Registration is covered by CARL tuition. Each participant (or employing agency) is responsible for travel, some meals, and lodging costs. We will provide hotel recommendations in each session area for proximity and convenience. If we need additional time to cover material, or if participants identify additional curriculum that they would like to cover, we will hold additional virtual sessions. Dates and times will be discussed with participants.
Prior to the beginning of our first session, we reserve the right to make scheduling changes as necessary. If we need to change our meeting locations or dates after the program starts, we will do our best to consult CARL participants and make changes based on a group consensus.
2026-2027 Calendar Dates
All of our sessions take place across the span of two class days (one night), except for the session at our regional conference, which is three class days (two nights). Sessions typically take place on a Thursday-Friday with the occasional exception. Participants will receive Google calendar invites for each session with an attached session agenda.
