We meant to say free Bottlerock transit passes!
For those who aren’t in the know, BottleRock is the premier Northern California music festival located in Napa. More than 40,000 attend. This year’s headliners include the Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses, Megan The Stallion, Chris Stapleton, Cage the Elephant, and next-generation rapper PoloG. Even the Village People are on the card. See the line up.
Its kind of like a small Coachella with better wine.
If you are going this weekend (September 3 through 5), consider taking advantage of the free rides on Vine Transit operated by the Napa Valley Transportation Authority. One of the downsides of the event is getting caught in traffic trying to get in our get out.
But you don’t have to suffer the congestion blues.
Vine Transit is offering free rides and extending hours for local routes and express service to BART for BottleRock. In a fortunate coincidence, BottleRock is located across the street from the Soscol Gateway Transit Center. (Such planning!). Local shuttle services will also be free but shuttles will operate standard weekend hours. See details.
This is the fourth year that the Napa Valley Transportation Authority has offered free rides on Vine Transit to concert-goers, residents, and visitors. Service hours are also extended to accommodate late-night riders leaving the concert. This service is made possible in part from a donation from the BottleRock operators.
Masks are required on all Vine vehicles, regardless of vaccination status.
